THE LOCATION
TUHINJ VALLEY, SLOVENIA

Located less than one hour from the charming capital Ljubljana is a a gorgeous valley with thermal waters that not many tourists are aware of.
​
Within in the heart of the Slovenian Alps, cradled between gentle forested slopes and meadows where the air smells of pine and wildflowers.
On one side you’ll find sunlit hills rolling toward the Kamnik–Savinja Alps, and on the other, tranquil woodland paths that lead to crystal-clear streams and hidden viewpoints.

Daily Presentations led by colleagues for high level Continuing Professional Development for voice teachers and voice professionals: inspiring sessions around voice, pedagogy, and science-based practises.
Access to Thermal Park - two large pools and spa
Daily Wellness: thermal water therapy, barefoot walking trail, demonstrations and wellness talks based upon the Kneipp philosophy

WHERE YOU’LL STAY
The resort has a complex of charming Alpine Lodge style apartments. All wood and interiors have been sourced locally from the Tuhinj Valley, keeping to traditional Slovenian style.
Each lodge apartment is designed to be comfortably shared by two or three adults, or as a family of 4-5 adults/kids (1 double bed, 1 single bed + comfortable, double pull out sofa) over two rooms.
The rooms can also be taken solo for an extra charge of £30 per night.
All lodges have private or ensuite bathrooms with shower, as well as a small kitchenette.
Accessibility needs can be catered for throughout the whole resort. Please be in touch with any specific needs/requests.
THE RESORT
Terme Snovik incorporates a lovely ethos of nature and health. Everything is sourced locally and the healthy thermal spring water is everywhere, including out of the taps.

The resort operates under Kneipp philosophy, which is a holistic approach to health and well-being based on five pillars: hydrotherapy (water therapy), phytotherapy (herbal medicine), nutrition, exercise, and a balanced lifestyle that emphasizes harmony with nature.

Two large, all thermal water pools, state of the art sauna and spa, well equipped, modern conference rooms and surrounded in nature with 360 degree mountain views.

Families or guests coming together may share, otherwise rates are based on sharing with other CPD holiday guests. We will do our best to put sharers together in the most thoughtful way possible.

Presenter Credentials
Preference will given to evidence based/science backed material, or areas where a serious passion and dynamic drive for an interesting and useful topic is shown.

Other preferences given to order of sign up, level of experience and expertise, and which presentations best slot in nicely for an all rounded schedule of useful topics for voice teachers and professionals.

Secure your space now with just a non-refundable £100 deposit, then email becky@singerandtheself.com to request presenting/observing and any extras required.

The remainder of your bill can be set up in full, or start a payment plan within one month from paying deposit, with last instalment due 8 weeks before the start of holiday.
